Who We Are
College of Anaesthesiologists & Intensivists of Sri Lanka has a long history of dedication to the field of anaesthesia and the well-being of patients. In its 51 years of existence, the College has made significant contributions to the advancement of knowledge and promotion of research in anaesthesia, including conducting and supporting clinical studies and providing educational resources and opportunities for continuing medical education. The College has also been actively involved in efforts to improve patient safety, collaborating with healthcare organizations and implementing best practices to reduce the risk of complications during anaesthetic procedures. In addition to these efforts, the College has played a vital role in the training of anaesthesiologists, offering courses and training programs to help prepare the next generation of medical professionals. Furthermore, the College has fostered a sense of community among its members, promoting fellowship and supporting the professional development of its members through networking and mentorship opportunities.
